Hi! Here is how we calculate the webbing length for the H-style harness:

Total cut length = usable length around your pet + extra length for hardware + folding allowance for ends.
● Usable length: Measure neck/chest girth, leave 1–2cm space for comfort.
● Hardware extra: ~2.5cm for buckle, ~4cm for slider, ~3–4cm for D-ring.
● End allowance: Reserve 3cm on each end to fold & sew to stop fraying.

Pro tip: Cut webbing slightly longer than calculated. You can trim excess after fitting, but you can’t fix it if it’s too short.
