Materials Needed
- 1/2 yard main fabric for collar band (woven cotton, quilting cotton, poplin, or shirting)
- 1/4 yard contrasting fabric for shirt collar (solid or printed cotton)
- 1/4 yard fabric for necktie (cotton with fun prints — cartoon, floral, gingham, etc.)
- 1/2 yard lining fabric (lightweight cotton)
- Medium-weight fusible interfacing (for collar, tie knot, and closure area)
- 2 sets of plastic or metal snap buttons (size 16 / 12.4mm), OR 1 pair of sew-on Velcro
- Matching thread
